In the morning of May 13, 2019, organized by the Hongqiao CBD Management Committee, for the purpose of acknowledging and further boosting economic development of distinctive parks and buildings in the Central Business District, and playing a better leading role, the plaque awarding ceremony of industrial parks and distinctive buildings in Hongqiao CBD was held successfully in the Multifunctional Hall at 2F No.33 Shenhong Road. Hongqiao CBD Party Group Secretary & Executive Deputy Director Min Shilin, Deputy Director Jin Guojun, Deputy Director Fu Naixun, main leaders of Minhang, Changning, Qingpu and Jiading Economic Commission (Commerce Commission), as well as heads of various offices of the Management Committee attended the ceremony.

Xihongqiao Tonglian Innovation Industrial Park is among the first batch of Hongqiao CBD’s distinctive industrial parks awarded the plaque. At the ceremony, 11 industrial parks including Xihongqiao Tonglian Innovation Industrial Park had the privilege of receiving the title of Distinctive Industrial Parks alongside Hongqiao Imported Commodity Exhibition & Trading Center, Shanghai Hongqiao Linkong Economic Demonstration Zone, Shanghai New Hongqiao International Medical Center, China Beidou Industrial Technology Innovation West Hongqiao Base, Yangtze River Delta E-commerce Center, Yangtze River Delta Regional Urban Exhibition Center, Shanghai Ali Center Smart Industrial Park, SCE Headquarter Park, Zhenro Center Business Port and Shanghai North Hongqiao Fashion Creative Park; Yangtze River Delta Business Travel Culture and Sport Demonstration Zone Linkage Platform, Hongqiao Overseas Trade Center, Hongqiao Brand (Trademark) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, Hongqiao Green Valley WE-Silicon Valley Artificial Intelligence (Shanghai) Center and so on were honored with the title of Distinctive Buildings.

At the ceremony, Hongqiao CBD Party Group Secretary & Executive Deputy Director Min Shilin pointed out that in recent years, Hongqiao CBD has been focusing on the Import Expo spillover effect and high-quality integrated development strategy of Yangtze River Delta, to build a number of functional platforms such as Hongqiao Imported Commodity Exhibition & Trading Center, Yangtze River Delta Regional Urban Exhibition Center and Overseas Trade Center, supporting various functional areas to promote the agglomeration of aviation, Beidou, medical treatment and other industries, and joining forces with developers and professional operating companies to create a bunch of industrial parks including SCE Headquarter Park and Shanghai Ali Center, thus shaping an industrial pattern of “one focus, multiple supplements, mutual support and coordinated development”. The 15 industrial parks and distinctive buildings emerged from this selection exert a perfect leading effect in terms of industrial agglomeration and brand influence; hopefully, the parks and buildings accredited this time will continuously endeavor to further strengthen industrial agglomeration and function creation.

He said that Hongqiao CBD would launch an assessment mechanism for star-level industrial parks and distinctive buildings, provide support and reward for the accredited superior parks and buildings, revoke the plaque of the nonconforming ones, and continue to enhance the leadership and gold content of brands. Meanwhile, it will constantly deepen the accreditation work, explore and support various entities to host parks and buildings with clear functional orientation, high industrial agglomeration and excellent exemplary leading effect, based on accreditation of the first batch, so as to accredit a batch once mature.

Xihongqiao Tonglian Innovation Industrial Park is extremely honored as one of the first batch of distinctive parks accredited by the Management Committee. In the future, it will strive to implement the relevant criteria in collaboration with the Management Committee, and live up to expectations to create a new economic growth point with Hongqiao Central Business District.
