Opening a New “Competition” Field and Composing a Pattern Together, 2019 Electronic Racing League (Asia) Final Successfully Closed
On November 15, co-sponsored by Shanghai Xihongqiao Business Development Co., Ltd. and GLORIOUS INTERNATIONAL, undertaken by Ruike Xtreme Motorsports, co-organized by Japan E-Sports Union (JeSU) and Korea E-Sports Association (KeSPA), and with the technical guidance provided by British SMS and the wholehearted guidance provided by Shanghai E-Sports Association and Shanghai Qingpu District Sports Association, 2019 Electronic Racing League (Asia) Final successfully closed in Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center leaving a deep impression on the racing fans by the scenes of brilliant content.
This competition is an unprecedented event, which is the country’s first national boundaries-free and cross-field convergence of China, Japan and South Korea’s top electric racers, and will be a new chapter in China’s racing sports history. On such a historic occasion, Jin Lei, Deputy Director of Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism, Sun Ting, Member of the Standing Committee of Qingpu District of Shanghai and Deputy Director of Qingpu District of Shanghai, Peng Yihao, Deputy Director of Qingpu District of Shanghai, Zhao Jun from Shanghai Hongqiao Business District Management Committee, Zhu Qinqin, Vice President of Shanghai Electric Sports Association, Ji Yuanliang, Director of Japan Electric Sports Union and CEO of Smartech Group, and Park Hyunsik, Director of Korea Electric Sports Association and CEO of Tobe Networks, Inc, Zhao Jun from Shanghai Hongqiao Business District Management Committee and other leaders witnessed the perfect closing of 2019 Electronic Racing League (Asia) Final.

In addition, invited famous film and television star Wang Zhiwen, writer and racing driver Han Han, young actors Qin Mingyue and Liu Shuai were specially invited for enjoyment together on the site. Famous actors Feng Shaofeng and Miao Miao, and high-quality idol Huang Zitao also sent the sincere blessings to this event.
In the early stage of the 2019 ERL, 16 top Chinese, Japanese and Korean simulation racers were selected through multiple rounds of competitions on the line to compete on the same stage on the site. After the three-round final off the line, South Korea’s electric sports player Kim Kwai-min steady won the championship trophy with superb technology, the highly skilled Japanese racing electric sports player Takufujitsu won the runner-up title, and the third place was won by Liu Horiang, a player also comes from Japan. The winners shared a total bonus of $60,000 and received a national B-class training course offered by XTREME Racing.
As a digital sport, racing e-sports is a popular competition for many young people in the world today. At the opening ceremony, Peng Yihao, Deputy Director of Qingpu District, Shanghai, said: “Organizing ERL Asian Competition is a vivid practice of the integration of Cultural and Creative Industries and E-sports Industry.” Qingpu District will fully assist Shanghai to build “the capital of global electric sports”, promote the soft power of urban culture, give full play to the cultural connotation and industrial value of racing e-sports, and make great efforts to promote the internationalization, professionalization and industrialization of racing e-sports so as to perfect combine Qingpu’s city character of “serving the two national strategies and building the gate of Shanghai” and the spirit of “struggle, tenacity and cooperation” of racing e-sports.
